Day 1 at Caesarea. standing in one of the rooms where Paul may have been held in captivity.

Standing atop Mt Carmel in the Galilee

In the Arbel Pass... along the trail upon which our Savior traveled countless times. Absolutely beautiful area.... peace.

The "Jesus Boat" at Magdel. Possibly the boat from which Jesus calmed the seas.

On the replica boat out on the beautiful Sea of Galilee

Two countries which should be forever allied.

Standing atop the Mt of Beatitudes, where Jesus preached The Sermon on the Mount.

Atop the Mt of Beatitudes

Atop Mt. Arbel looking down into Arbel Pass

Standing near the Syrian Border, looking down off Mt. Ben Tall.

Top of Mt. Ben Tall looking into Syria.

Top of Mt. Ben Tall with Mt Hermon (tallest mountain in Israel) in the background! It was windy and cold up there... just like home!

Tina drinking out of the spring of Bannias which is the source of the Jordan River.
At Bannias, the start of the Jordan river with the falls behind us.

Steps leading up to the oldest known arch in the world at Tel Dan. This is known as Abrahams gate. Abraham walked up these very steps!
In the back of a Jeep heading up to the top of the Golan Heights.

Standing atop the Golan Heights looking down over beautiful valleys and lush green fields.

Our fearless leader, Pastor Rick Crawford and his lovely wife Cheryl with all of us on the Golan Heights.

It was a rough ride up and down in a series of Jeeps on some crazy trails!

This is our guide, Eiton. He is great... very knowledgeable.

Roman toilets.Strange to picture, but the process for using one of these is that you stretch your rear end from one rock to another and let 'r rip. There is a river flowing below you and a small trough of water in front of you that you reach your hand down into to scoop up a handful of water out to wash your backside with.... thank God for the modern toilet.... seriously!

Roman theater at Caesarea. The top two sections of this are missing, but the acoustics are still awesome!

Tina and a nice Israeli soldier at Quasr El Yahud on the Jordan River where we were baptized.

Sharing lunch with an Israeli soldier.

Tina getting baptized in the Jordan river...unforgettable.

Jason getting baptized in the Jordan River... not as warm as you might think.

A once in a lifetime opportunity, and one we will never forget. Getting baptized in an area that is quite possibly the very same area where Jesus was baptized.

The soldiers in the Israeli army are everywhere. We always feel very safe and they're all very friendly.

At Qumran, the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. You can see a few of the caves in the background.

At Qumran, with the Dead Sea behind us.

Looking down into Jerusalem and the dome of the rock on the Temple Mount.
